Responsible Stewardship
At Wake Cattle Company, we believe that great beef starts with great genetics and responsible stewardship. Our herd is built on a foundation of Hereford and Angus cattle, carefully crossed with Santa Gertrudis to create Star 5 Crosses. These heifers are then bred back to Angus bulls, with the long-term goal of developing a strong base herd of Angus-Star 5 crosses. From there, we are working toward incorporating Akaushi Wagyu genetics to take our beef quality to the next level.
This is not a quick process — it’s a commitment to building the best cattle possible for years to come. By focusing on top genetics, we aim to deliver premium, flavorful beef that we are proud to serve to our own family and share with yours.
Our cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished, producing rich marbling and superior taste. We use vaccines only as needed to keep our animals healthy and avoid unnecessary treatments. No GMOs — just honest, responsible cattle-raising practices.
